Production time

Standard production is about 2 weeks from the moment you approve your mockup (faster turnaround available with express shipping). Production does not begin until approval, so the clock starts when you say yes, not when you first enquire.

Crayons are supplied against the children’s art-material safety standard applicable in the market into which the customer states the goods will be sold, with the applicable conformance statement printed on retail and distribution packaging; the destination market is confirmed with the customer before quotation because applicable requirements differ by territory, and no blanket representation of conformance across all markets is made; wax formulations are specified with stated pigment laydown and stated break resistance, and these characteristics are provided as comparable specifications rather than as general claims; barrel diameter is specified against the intended user age, with jumbo, egg and palm formats supplied for early-years use on the stated basis that standard-diameter barrels are liable to fracture under a whole-hand grip and that fractured tips constitute small parts; moulded and shaped crayons are produced from customer tooling with geometry reviewed for thin sections prior to tool cutting, and customers are advised in writing before tooling that moulded forms carry no printed wrap and that decoration transfers to outer packaging; pack configurations, sleeve artwork, outer carton quantities and per-site delivery schedules are specified around the customer’s distribution method; and programme customers’ formulations, colour ranges, sleeve artwork and pack configurations are held on file so that reorders match previous production exactly.

Express turnaround

If you are working to an opening, a wedding or an event date, tell us the date when you request the quote. Express turnaround is available on most products and we will confirm in writing whether your date is achievable before you pay.

Delivery

Orders ship from the United States by ground carrier, with transit typically running 2–5 business days depending on distance. You receive tracking as soon as the shipment leaves. Expedited air service is available on request.

Addresses and split shipments

Double-check your shipping address before approval — carriers charge to redirect a shipment in transit and we pass that cost through at cost. We can split one order across multiple locations; just tell us the breakdown when you order.

Lost or damaged shipments

If tracking stalls or a carton arrives damaged, contact us with photos and we will open the carrier claim and reprint or refund the affected portion. You do not have to deal with the carrier yourself.
